Essays of a Revolutionary MC: The Album is Out
What a year 2024 has been!
On this day, 10 years ago, I boarded a one-way flight from Entebbe, Uganda, to Billund, Denmark. I left as a Luganda rapper with big dreams, determined to discover what life could offer an ambitious Ugandan man in a just and free society.
Over the past year, through this blog, I’ve shared glimpses of this incredible journey—what life became after that flight—and my return to music following my selection as an Obama Leader last year.
In Uganda, I had dropped out of school years prior, to pursue my passion for Hip Hop as a form of artistic expression. While life has taken me down different paths, I’ve held tightly to my art as a form of activism, releasing singles from time to time to keep the spirit alive.
Today, as I celebrate a decade in Denmark and a lifetime in art, I couldn’t be prouder to release my debut album, Essays of a Revolutionary MC.

This album is a tapestry of Luganda Hip Hop, activism, identity, and cultural exploration. Through Luga Flow—Hip Hop in Luganda—I share my story and Uganda’s fight for freedom and liberation with raw honesty. It’s a blend of artistic expression and an unrelenting pursuit of truth and justice.
For context, I refer you to the keynote/performance I gave this September at IT Arena - Lviv, Ukraine below.
This album wouldn’t exist without the collaboration of so many talented artists and producers. I hope their passion inspires you as much as it has inspired me.

This year, I also had the pleasure of opening up PopTech with a spoken word piece on Freedom. Watch it below!
As I reflect on this year, and a decade of growth, transformation, and creativity, I’m filled with excitement for what the future holds. I wish you, and your loved ones a wonderful holiday season 🎄
Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s continue to inspire change, and fight for justice. And remember to give a listen to Essays of a Revolutionary MC: The Album.
